Each applicant to one of our programs is considered with great care. While there is no strict formula for gaining admission, we hope you will explore the information in this site to understand what we look for in our holistic admissions process. While academic accomplishment is important, the Admissions Committee considers many other factors—strong personal qualities, professional experience, special talents and excellence of all kinds, perspectives formed by unusual personal circumstances; and the ability to take advantage of available resources and opportunities.
Bachelor and Master Advanced Professional Certificates
In todays American economy advancement of business and globalization means a high school diploma alone is no longer able to provide family-sustaining earnings to many. USI Bachelor and Master Level APCs represent one piece of a multi-pronged solution on the road to a workforce with sixty percent post-secondary and graduate level attainment. The rapid growth of an Advanced Professional Certificate based on applied knowledge, competency, and professional experience is a significant sign that professionals, students, and educational institutions are recognizing the value of professional certificates at an increasing rate. The UNITED STATES INSTITUTE is designed to attract experienced professionals looking for an alternative to the high cost and time frame required by traditional post-secondary and graduate level degree programs. We designed the APC program as a convenient way to enhance professional development. The UNITED STATES INSTITUTE has tailored Bachelor and Master Level Certificates to help reach your professional goals. Our APCs are discipline-specific; designed by professionals for professionals that are looking to compete in a global market place.
We rank our Advanced Professional Certificates among the most affordable nationally and internationally. If you are a seasoned professional looking to take the next step up in your career or you just want the recognition of your peers, that’s both convenient and affordable, then our Advanced Professional Certificates are well worth your consideration.
You are issued a diploma style Advanced Professional Certificate with “United States Institute of Applied Knowledge” in raised shadowed lettering and our official gold seal. You can proudly display it at your office or at your home. You can choose White or Natural. They are 8.5 X 11 inches in size, printed on 65lb weight diploma stock paper and look amazingly framed. Comparable advanced professional certificates can cost up to Ten Thousand Dollars, and take as long as two years online or in a class room to complete.
The USI is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Educational Public Charity. All proceeds go toward the administration of the USI and the Foundation for the Civilly Disadvantaged, Inc. The cost of your certificate may be tax-deductable. Please consult a tax expert or the U.S. Internal Revenue Service to see if you qualify for an income tax deduction.
MILITARY VETERANS PROGRAMS
Military Veterans 50/50 program
Designed for corporations, organizations, businesses and individuals to cover one half of the Veterans cost with a tax deductible monetary contribution and the USI covering the other half of their cost. This program is unlimited in the number of Bachelor or Master APCs that can be issued.
Our Military have sacrificed greatly in gaining their experience and knowledge. The USI is on the frontline of giving our Military the recognition they deserve. Not all Veterans can attend college or afford the associated cost or time. Help the USI honor their accomplishments by joining us in our 50/50 program. We encourage the business community and other sponsors to help with generous cash contributions that cover one half of the cost of a Bachelor or Master Level APC.
(Block donations are available to sponsor any number of Veterans.)

Corporations, companies, groups and individuals can sponsor as many Veterans as they like; one to ten or more. No matter what the amount, the results are the same; a better future for our Veterans. Nominate a Veteran program is designed for citizen's to enter a Veteran’s name in nomination, for a "FREE OF COST", Bachelor or Master Advanced Professional Certificate. A Veteran can place their own name in nomination also. One to five Veterans will be chosen each month depending on requests.

Although we cover the cost of up to 60 Veterans annually, we still need your help.
